@causalinf @paulgp An interesting thing about the Netflix problem is that objective function isn’t just prediction. They want to recommend movies you’re going to WATCH, not just enjoy|watch. Even though Godfather 2 ≻ Godfather, should recommend the former to people who haven’t watched latter.On twitter.com
