    @gelbach @Andrew___Baker @MattZeitlin I think @martincschmalz et al have work on e.g., managerial comp as a mechanism, but I think common ownership can have adverse effects that don’t just look like sustaining collusion (i.e., “aligning incentives,” below). ... 1/2

      @gelbach @Andrew___Baker @MattZeitlin @martincschmalz 2/2 E.g., may be no way for a monopolist to dissuade a pure-play potential entrant, but common owner might prevent entry as in “Killer Aquisitions” by @florianederer @ProfSongMa @cunningham_lbs. Think of this as allowing transfers/Coasian bargaining through comm own’s portfolio?
