@jenniferdoleac I don’t know this literature, but my gut is it has to do with bargaining power? Doleac is powerful so can push employer close to its WTP (informed by colleagues’ salaries). Less powerful potential employees get pushed closer to their WTA (informed by what they earned before).On twitter.com
