      …and we also enjoyed Yopparai’s hoba miso (beef+miso+veg grilled on a Japanese Magnolia leaf). This is a dish I *love* and have never otherwise had outside the Hida-Takayama area where it’s a beloved local delicacy. Many other good dishes. Strongly recommended.
