@EmilyNix100 @Noahpinion Also, if you like historical detail, I recommend getting the long-out-of-print Kodansha Gateway to Japan guidebook (used, ~$5 on Amazon) amazon.com/dp/477002018X/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_GsD2DbW4WZJ7X . Obviously logistics, prices, restaurants etc are all out of date, but it’s got the best writeups on every older site.On twitter.com
