@marxmatt @Stata I'm not sure I know *exactly* what you have in mind, but one can probably hack something together using fileread as in stata.com/stata-news/news31-4/spotlight/ generate strL notes = fileread("Patient" + string(id) + "_PhysicianNotes.txt") (I know at this point Stata may not be the perfect tool)On twitter.com
