@DavidSFink @ChrisANeilson Some nice coverage in @paultough’s great book (an excerpt nytimes.com/interactive/2019/09/10/magazine/college-admissions-paul-tough.html). They use sequential admissions (incl. early and waitlists), aid offers, etc. to carefully fill their spots. The real constraints are classroom seats, dorms, and aid dollars, not admissions slots.
