@jnaidoo_econ Maybe tweet wasn’t clearly written, but I advisedly said “most important 𝗻𝗲𝘄 status-conferring institution” (and not, for example, the “𝗻𝗲𝘄 most important institution”). Publication in top journals seems likely to remain more important, but that’s existed for a long time!
