@EmilyNix100 Doesn’t this *really* depend what “necessary” means, and on the specific conditions and surgeries? I mean, avoiding a stent insertion now could mean a more invasive surgery later, or it could mean no surgery (because an AMI the stent would have helped avoid kills the patient) ⚖️.
