@florianederer @JuliaSimonKerr ASU’s policies (presumably designed to avoid serious P–A problems, but definitely not first-best) meant I couldn’t buy out my 2013 MacBook Pro when I left. It probably got ~$0 at a salvage auction, but still kicked butt after 6 years’ hard use.
