          1. I love @AskeBay, but I am now among the (apparently numerous) buyers scammed with a Fake @UPS tracking number scam. And eBay is letting sellers get away with this! It's a clever scam... seller provided tracking showing that a package was delivered in my zip code, but... @JeffCEngel/1254957179867627522

...my @UPS confirmed that the tracking number was actually for a delivery from an animal supply company to a local vet's office. However, @eBay just sees that there was a delivery in my zip code and rejects refund claims automatically.

It's clever! Presumably: 1. Sell low-value items on @eBay to build rep 2. List fake high-value item 3. Find a business in buyer's zip code; order a cheap item with free shipping delivered to them to get a @UPS tracking number 4. Forward tracking number to buyer via eBay

Exploits are - @UPS tracking only shows delivery ZIP code, not address (unless you file a claim) - @AskeBay appears not to read documentation on buyer claims, but immediately rejects claims as along as there is a tracking number showing delivery This is how platforms die.
