It's for a few reasons - Zoom disabled Virtualcam support earlier this year for security reasons, and then only recently brought it back. Who knows if it will stick around. - Virtualcam was PC-only until @johnboiles created a Mac version just recently 1/

      @IvanWerning @paulgp @kinggary @JonathanColmer @EmilyNix100 @sharatganapati @johnboiles - Virtualcam works with Zoom (for now), but not with all software (including not working with @Webex 😢) - Simultaneously running presentation/coding software, OBS, Virtualcam, and Zoom can be fairly taxing on your computer, which can create bad lag @bradfowd1/1297227269036015616 2/
