@IvanWerning @paulgp @kinggary @JonathanColmer @EmilyNix100 @sharatganapati You're absolutely right. It's for a few reasons - Zoom disabled Virtualcam support earlier this year for security reasons, and then only recently brought it back. Who knows if it will stick around. - Virtualcam was PC-only until @johnboiles created a Mac version just recently 1/

@IvanWerning @paulgp @kinggary @JonathanColmer @EmilyNix100 @sharatganapati @johnboiles - Virtualcam works with Zoom (for now), but not with all software (including not working with @Webex 😢) - Simultaneously running presentation/coding software, OBS, Virtualcam, and Zoom can be fairly taxing on your computer, which can create bad lag @bradfowd1/1297227269036015616 2/

@IvanWerning @paulgp @kinggary @JonathanColmer @EmilyNix100 @sharatganapati @johnboiles @Webex - And it's easy to inadvertently screw up your presentation by typing or pressing the wrong key (especially if you're annotating slides) if you're also trying to manage OBS and Zoom chat/participants on the same machine. 3/3
