    @tedsvo @judy_chevalier @bmuehlmann I have a persistent chat with the class (now on Webex Teams; used to use WhatsApp) but I don’t use that during class sessions. My rule is that I’ll email anything essential or post it on LMS; “chat” is optional. 1/

      @tedsvo @judy_chevalier @bmuehlmann Teaching online, I use the chat function built into the Webex conferencing. When fully online, I follow the chat and we use it a lot. Hybrid, it’s impossible for me to watch it; fortunately, I have a “driver” in the room who monitors the chat and helps read things out loud. 2/

        @tedsvo @judy_chevalier @bmuehlmann I’d be happy for the hybrid students in the classroom to also be on the chat. Unfortunately, I need to ask them not to log in to Webex because then their video squares crowd out the online students, of whom I can see 25 at a time. cc: @justinthetechie 3/3
