    @pierre_azoulay @justinthetechie @tedsvo I’ve been thinking about this… what I always want when I’m teaching (online or hybrid) is for the Zoom/Webex UI to have three “first class” visuals, with everything else relegated to gallery view: Me, whatever other student is speaking, and my slides. 1/

      @pierre_azoulay @justinthetechie @tedsvo I think my mad scientist idea is similar to yours (dual computers and the whole thing), but as yet unimplemented. And yet it seems so natural for Zoom/Webex just to natively let you “pin” the host while also allowing the secondary video to switch based on who’s talking! 2/2

        @pierre_azoulay @justinthetechie @tedsvo But now I’m realizing you’re suggesting a known “guest” rather than letting the secondary video switch with audio. That seems doable, maybe even on a single PC! I’m going to give it a think. 3/3
