        @elben @PauSchae THIS. I am very sensitive to trying to minimize the number of platforms, and try to stick with LMS for many jobs even where it wouldn’t be the best standalone tool. But forum/discussion engagement is SO MUCH BETTER since I switched. Totally worth it.

      @elben @PauSchae And unlike many other teachtech tools, this is a place where you can choose an app your students are already using! For me this was WhatsApp in the spring. Due to [reasons] it’s Webex Teams now. Less constrained, I’d probably do Slack.

    @elben @PauSchae But I think the low-hanging fruit here is in lowering students’ cost to post and reply to each other (through platform choice) rather than trying to raise their benefit (through e.g., requiring and grading responses in the LMS).
