@historianjennie @Ben_Uchiyama Lume Cube will be a higher-quality product (and when it comes to video lighting, the $ky’s the limit) but you’ll need a way to mount it, perhaps a clamp or a tripod. This is a janky, cheap kit that includes a bad tripod mount but for most people anything’s better than nothing!

@historianjennie @Ben_Uchiyama I’d only light from directly behind the camera if you can bounce off the wall. Otherwise much better to come in from an angle. If you can’t bounce, a light with a diffuser (like that lumecube) will look much less harsh, and reflect less if you wear glasses 🤓. @lukestein/1297979367503667200
