      @PaulGowder @SeanKHiggins I too don’t like headsets! It’s a Samson Q2U on a cheap generic boom arm. Thoughts on it/alternatives here: kit.co/lukestein/luke-s-teach-from-home-technology tl;dr is too many people buy condenser mics like the Blue Yeti which tend to pick up background and room noise when they should get a dynamic mic

    @PaulGowder @SeanKHiggins There actually aren’t many <$100 dynamic USB options (basically the 3 linked on my page) and they’ve been in and out of stock since the pandemic. But if you’re nerdy 🤜🤛 you have many more options at approx same total cost by buying a USB interface (cheap e.g. Behringer UM2)…

      @PaulGowder @SeanKHiggins …and a dynamic microphone (cheap e.g., Behringer BA 85A amzn.to/2LkRvS3 ). Infinite opportunities to go higher end on either interface and mic, and there’s no extra setup, just an extra box on your desk.
