@jaredlander @AndrewRumbach [untagging some folks] OBS is fundamentally a switcher with a “program out” that can be streamed, recorded, or used as a virtual camera. You can do similar stuff in hardware using e.g., an ATEM Mini. But if you want isolated source recordings, you really need an iso recorder. 1/2

@jaredlander @AndrewRumbach There are software options for multisource recording, including if you want to do iso recording AND simultaneously stream for a class (incl. maybe Wirecast and vmix). But hardware may be better for this, and it’s really exactly what the ATEM Mini [Extreme] ISOs are made for. 2/2
